Just heard through the grapevine that John Kraljevich, top notch numismatist, tendered his resignation at Bowers and Merena. Is there anyone left up there?

Well that is an awful lot of insider selling for officers that were hopeful of a turnaround. B&M better start throwing off some real return on equity pretty quick. I still look for an effort to take the company private when the stock hits $1.
Somehow i missed the original info as to what started the grand exodus from Bowers and Merena.......especially by QDB himself. Seems really strange a founder a company would leave so abruptly. Had QDB lost control of the company prior to him leaving?
Just wondering.... Joe T
The Ex-"Crown Jewel" of my collection! 1915 PF68 (NGC) Barber Half "Eliasberg".
Once again resides with Legend, the original purchaser "raw" at live Eliasberg auction. Laura and i "love" the same lady!
Joe- I think the story started when Michael Haynes, the new CEO of Collectors Universe, axed the top three positions at Bowers and Merena. I know QDB was one of the ones axed. Not a brilliant move IMO.
On page 36 in the April 1st edition of Numismatic News theres a small article about another coin company starting up in Wolfeboro. Not sure how much, if any, QDB has to do with it since I'm sure Collectors Universe wired him up with some sort of non compete contract.
As far as the stock goes, I used to own about 10k shares but now with the reverse split I only on 2250 now. I got sucked in way at the beginning.

Chris Karstedt (former B&M VP) is running that new company, I believe.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
