Type 2 S US Proof varieties...

I've seen many times different years for a type 2 S set in relatively modern US proof sets.

How many (and which) years had type 1 and type 2s?

Inquiring minds want to know (and maybe collect, too).

    the only type 1 and 2 proof sets were made in 1979 and 1981, but the mint did produce large date and small date proof sets in 1960 and 1970

    I believe there is also a 1940 Jefferson Type 1 and 2. Wavy versus straight steps.

    1913 Ty. 1 & Ty. 2 Buffalo Nickel Proofs too.
    The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Thanks beary much to all of you. I'm starting to assemble some of these, and I'd like to know what I'll be chasing after as I go backwards in mint dates.
