MS63 -- maybe AU58 if it is rub and not a weak strike around the hair on the obverse

well, here's me facts, and logic:

    1. FC57coins knows a thing or two about grading
    2. its a 1923, and i don't see a mintmark, so it's common.
    3. ergo, I deduce it's mint state, and probably better than a 63.
    4. judging from the scan, it doesn't have too many marks, so maybe 64.
    5. the toning is of the type that doesn't scan well, and probably has eye appeal, maybe 65

I'm going to say it's MS64.5, +/- 0.4, final grade range MS64 or MS65, unless there's a fact the scan doesnt show us yet.

Sorry Bailey - but your analysis was good! image

I know - posted it early because sometimes you get some of these and the grades take forever to post then people get antsy! image

Bear - how could you not when she's blushing on the obverse and it looks like a beautiful sunset on the reverse! image

Alright i got one rightimage I was going to say 65 but i figured the toning was probably hiding one or two little marks so i knocked it down a grade.

BTW - thanks lucy how did johnny cheat?
