Cool - A Die Variety. 41 Jefferson Large Mintmark

I was digging through the "hoard" looking at Jeffersons tonight with my trusty "Cherrypicker's Guide" - and what did I run across? None other than my first die variety - the 1941-S Large Mintmark.

According to the comments in the guide "The Large S mint mintmark is very difficult to find at present"

May not make anyone do handsprings, but I thought it was a neat find.

congrats on the find, it's always a great feeling when you find a die variety. (it feels even better when you sell it and buy an upgrade for the coin that was in your set)

A 1963 Tripled Die Reverse!

It's a tough one. They're both circulated coins obviously.

The tripling is definitely worn. : (
Mostly you can see it in the width of the lower curve of the "u".
