Boy, moves fast. The bidding is over before 1/3rd of the picture shows (and I have a high-speed connection). If you hadn't already done your homework, you would be eating dust!

Anyone bothering to bid this way??

Saw the same thing watching the Heritage auction during FUN...not too many internet bidders won lots that I saw...

They are a running blur! I have cable modem and can't keep up with them! CHRIST, did you see how fast the '33 Saint auction was!! If was over before it started it seems!! Even with cable modem, you have to be quick!!

I was at last night's Superior sale. Proof type was strong, mintstate type was good, modern franklin proofs were strong, early lincolns were hot. Commems were soft to fair. I was the underbidder on the Antietam in NGC66, which hammered at $9500, then add on the 15%. WOW. Overall, an OK to better auction. Goldbergs sale was a bit soft on the Morgan dollars. Most of the nicely toned dollars did not sell. As far as the ebay bidding at Superior, there were NUMEROUS technical problems and definitely added on another 1-2 hours to the auction sale.

Never seen anything like it. Was bidding live and it moved soooooooo fast. Did anyone watch the 1938-D MS67 "Colorful" Buffalo? What was up with this one? I thought I had a shot at it for $350 than, wham it went to, get this, $2,250. That's a bit much for a 1938-D MS67.
Any opinions?

No kidding! I'm selling all my toned stuff way too cheap privately. Even with a sellers fee I could probably do about 100% better.
