Just got back from the show.

Just got back from the Racine show, I had a blast! Its was nicer than the show they had a few months ago because there was room to move around and more slabs. I bought a PCGS 1922 peace $ in MS-64, a PCGS 1882-S morgan $ in MS-65 and a PCGS Frankie from 1961 in MS-64. It was great but it is to bad they didnt have much slabbed gold.

El Paso show was pretty good. There were people selling coins, toys, military, fossils and watches. At first I didn't think I was going to buy anything but by the time I was ready to go home I had spent all my money. Also lots of public there.
I did mess up by not buying a 1921 Quarter graded PCGS MS-64 for $950. MS-64 bid is $850 and MS-65 bid is only $1,150 so I didn't think I could make anything on it. The catch was the coin was really nice and the head was strong. After thinking about it I decided it would have been one of those coins that I wouldn't care if it never sold. It would have been nice just to own. When I went back to buy it it was gone.
My son & I will be at the Biloxi show next weekend.
I picked up two new commemoratives at the same show, a MS64 California and a MS64 Huguent, both are very nice brilliant coins. I must of looked at dozens and dozens of commemoratives before I settled on these two.
I was looking for some nice gold coins as well but couldn't really find anything that was worth the price.

Peace $ It has a red and green toning on the botton of the obv and gold on the upper part. The rev has a blue streak that goes from the top over the eagle to about 3/4 of the way down the coin.
Morgan $ Blast white and PQ!
I especially like the variation between obverse and reverse in toning and color. Thats unusual.
