Has PCGS ever graded anything MS 70?

Just curious to what it was! I've seen several Proofs at 70 but I can't recall seeing anything in Mint State graded perfect!

Thanks

Chris

Yes quit a few MS70s, but they are not coins meant for general circulation. They are commemoratives and legal tender. mdwoods

There have been quite a few commemoratives and eagles graded MS70. There has also been the modern SMS coins that have been graded MS70. I don't think any regular business strike coinage has been graded MS70, though, and probably never will be.

Yes they have. There is a whole bunch of West Point Commems this past year that went MS70

That's what I'm talking about. Have you ever seen a coin intended for circulation graded MS 70?

So what's the going price for that MS 70 Kennedy? If you don't mind me asking! I'm not interested in buying it but would greatly like to know what a PCGS 70 would bring!

Not too terribly much. The 1998-S Kennedy SMS were very well struck, and PCGS has graded about 135 or so MS70. I think they go for around $500.

the 1998-S JFK SMS in PCGS MS70 on eBay typically sells for ~ $800
