Played the Broncos ML. At 1:54 left in the game, the Broncos took a 4 point lead. But Mahomes is so dangerous at this point in a game, I looked at cashing out. The cash-out value was only a 35% profit. Extremely pathetic considering I had a 50% profit boost on the bet. So I said F* it, let it ride.
Well Mahomes brilliantly proceeds to march right down the field and it winds-up at the Broncos one yard line with 4 seconds left to play. Frankly, I wasn't upset that I was about to lose the bet when I coulda grabbed a 35% profit. But the cash-out value just wasn't there. At that time on the one yard line, I gave myself a 10% chance of winning, at best. But the Broncos D nicely came thru for me.
The rest of this season seems like a "highway to yell" for the Eagles. Can they step-up tonight against a bad team, and maybe grab one on the road? That +6 line tells me it's unlikely to happen.
I'm just gonna watch the game. Although I'm tempted to make a sizable ML bet on the Commanders. Still contemplating it, but I think I'll just enjoy the weekend very nice winnings, and leave it at that.
Sorry guys I just didn’t have the heart to see it through. I would have won my 9 team parlay but I cashed out when the Bengals went into OT. That was right after the Raiders squeaked out a win. I’m sure if I didn’t cash when I did I would have when the pats were down 3-13 at halftime. The Cowboys win was last Monday and Packers Thursday. I’m happy because today was still a big win for me. 🥳

I just watched the replay, and actually the ball was on the 6 yard line, not the 1. The ESPN live scoreboard sometimes gets it wrong. I would have never considered cashing out if the ball was on the 6. It also makes that 35% profit cash-out offer even more pathetic.

Oh well, that's my Sunday evening complaint. 😂
It was on the 1 yard line before a false start penalty moved it to the 6.

I'll have to watch the whole 4th quarter replay when it's available. It'll probably be on Youtube soon.
Sometimes the digital ESPN live scoreboard, misses not only one play, but a number of plays. There might be some better websites out there, but I happen to like the basic layout of the ESPN website, for various reasons.

You were right.
"The Kansas City Chiefs had a potential Week 8 victory taken away by the almighty penalty flag.
The Chiefs, trailing the Denver Broncos 28-24, had 4th-and-goal from the 1-yard line with four seconds left at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colo. Patrick Mahomes hit Rashee Rice with a quick pass into the end zone, which most of the Chiefs offense celebrated as a game-winning touchdown.
However, Chiefs offensive tackle Jaylon Moore was called for a false start. He turned his head to the left before the ball was snapped and was penalized for it."
I've been thinking about this. Everybody likes a jackpot score, that's a given.
I've had a number of successful prop bets, played at around even money, that hit early, and the bet was won. But the total number after the game was finished, went way beyond what I played.
For example, I played a BB player prop a while back that he had to score 15 points. I get it in at odds whereby I can use a boost, the prop hits, and I'm happy. But this one time the guy gets in a zone, they keep feeding him the ball, and he scores over 40 points. I'm not sure what were the prop odds for 40+ points, but it had to be fat.
I realize that the bookie juice is higher on prop bets, so I can't make a habit of it. But when I see a prop that I really like a lot, I think on some I'm gonna play it my normal way, and plan to hit it for like even money. But then also take a stab at a much higher number for the same bet amount as the safer bet. Which means it's like a free roll to a potential fat payoff. I'll likely try it on some wagers and see what happens.
In the pickem contest this week I’m 9-4 before tonight’s game. I wagered on all 9 of my winning picks and did not wager on any of my 4 losses. Talk about lucky. 😁
See if that streak continues tonight because I’ve got Seattle in a second leg of a 4 team parlay.
I started my DK account in July and today was my first withdrawal from the account. 🥳
Previously I had only known how to deposit into it. Have to keep it going now and keep winning.
The Brew Crew helped a bunch when they won the WS and then yesterday was a good day on NFL.
Got a 30% profit boost on tonight's NFL game. Gotta play something, the odds are in my favor. However nothing is budging even an inch as to which team is better?
I may try this below and see how it works out. Heads is the home team. Tails is the road team. LOL

speaking of men's college hoops, the second-largest point-spread upset in the past 30 years at the DI level happened last night
East Texas A&M was a 28.5-pt dog to Oklahoma and they won outright
anywhere from +5000 to +6000 on the ML for those who could get it
and if anyone did get it, i'd love the opportunity to bow down before them
Probably someone out there went heavy on the Oklahoma ML, figuring for some easy pocket change along with better future profit boosts, and this morning is swearing off college basketball.
For Nascar Chase fans. Kyle Larson needs only 9 points to wrap up his Championship. Doesn't even have to win the race.
2 of my 3 bets,Hamlin,Gibbs, are out. Still have a shot with a top 3 finish in the ship with Lagano.
Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".
BTW - South Dakota State winds-up winning the game, straight up. Didn't even need the early win token. They were a 11.5 point dog.
Another game meeting the criteria was Lipscomb-Iowa. Lipscomb was a 24.5 point dog and was paying $625 for a $25 ML wager. I was extremely tempted to play that, with the 10 point early win token, but figured I've never been that lucky. Made the right decision as Lipscomb is getting blown out.
On topic… I almost bet on this on DK, the Democratic nominee for Kansas Senate, and he pulled it off. First time KS has elected a Dem. Senator since 1932. The losing incumbent Reb. has a hunting lodge two miles from my house which he claimed was his residence when he had a million dollar home in Florida which he reportedly sold as part of his attempt to get reelected. Trump is going to be pissed. He was just here twice in the last month to campaign. Trump is akin to having an insult comic as Pres., like if Don Rickles had ever been President. Can’t wait for his comments to the media and social media, this is going to be good. 🥳

quite a night. a blue wave to be sure. first Democratic senator & governor in over 30 years here in TX. less than 4 months ago, Abbott was a 92% fav on Kalshi. he outspent Hinojosa by more than 7:1. then, she sucked him up. like he was the Cowboys and she was the Cardinals. like he was me and she was Usain Bolt.
about a half hour before the polls closed, you could have gotten her @ +200
Galaxy…. yep a blue wave. And to be clear I’m not rep. or dem., I think one of the worst things to ever happen to this country is the forming of political parties.
I considered opening up accounts with Polymarket and Kalshi, in anticipation of tonight's events. Suffice to say, I'm very glad that I didn't. I would have gotten slaughtered.
The only profit boost I was offered on NBA today had to be a parlay with odds of +300 or longer. I knew I wasn’t going to find anything I was comfortable with so I’m just going with these 2 teams.
I made this bet Sunday morning, and the odds have been moving dramatically. They're offering me over 50% profit just to walk away, but I'm thinking nearly 3 to 1 on my money is worth holding tight and seeing what happens.

Pegged that game. Saw it coming a mile away. Butker didn't necessarily cost them the game, but I'm sick of that guy.

Winner.

Nice win on Denver. I just didn’t trust KC to win that game at all. The sad part is Number 10 had a huge game (Allen?) but the Chiefs still lost.
Edit… No. 10 Emmitt Johnson for KC
I'll need to start wagering higher numbers if I want to hiss in the tall grass with the big dogs on this thread. LOL
Winner.

A small win to cap off the day.

When the Commanders quickly came back to tie it 10-10, threw a live bet with the boost to add a few more ducats to the weekend's winning total.

I need to realize that I'm the sucker for continuously pounding these prop parlays, they work on occasion but I'm just doing too many legs
I take full responsibility for being a stubborn fool
I'm not even mad that I got pounded, I deserved it
I'm going to try my best to switch it up this Sunday
And I'm also going to try extra hard to not wager on Saturday
Had anyone bet Arizona , Denver and even Cincinnati when they were down before that last drive it would have been an epic payout

Caleb Williams passing TD's under 1.5
UConn ML (future profit boosts special) - LOL
My first college basketball wager worked out.

Not sure how I survived hitting this prop with the Bears scoring 34 points? And Williams threw a TD pass just six minutes into the game.
But I'll take it. 😎
Come on book, show me the boosts. LOL
Overwhelming time of the year. NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAA mens, and I also like to dabble with the college ladies.
I'm thinking of hiring a staff to help me navigate all these games. 😉

Oh I forgot to mention, you are correct. East Texas A&M was +5000
Pretty good odds on a flyer, for an opening season college game, with all the new players, etc, versus an unranked team.
Might be some similar opportunities tonight? Haven't looked yet
Took a cue from Galaxy's post about the East Texas A&M game. Received the 10 point early win thing, and figured it was worth a shot. Thank you Galaxy!
