The outcome is not in dispute; it is interesting that the authenticity applies to a listing that tripped it above the $500.00 threshold regardless of what it sells for. The original listing:

Terrible "coin" in a fake PCGS slab:

Genuine coin for the cert:

So, I looked up the seller's feedback:

And then made an offer and messaged him:

Offer accepted and it is on its way:

And right after my order the seller posted another...

ohhh boy
It looks like you bought the coin knowing it was counterfeit, the seller will ship it for authentication, it won't pass and you'll be refunded. Unless PCGS messes up the authentication, the program appears to work.
LOL, remove it from the market!

What's the point here? As soon as the seller figures this out, they'll be back under another user name, and will list these at $499 OBO.
Absolutely. I don't know why eBay even bothers.
Lol. For the thanks they get, they might as well save themselves the trouble. Smh...

And if not by that seller, then another one.
You can't stop people from trying to sell counterfeits. The best you can hope for is not letting sales go through when they try, which is what eBay is doing.
OK, in Cali
