Or environmentally damaged coins inside straight graded slabs, if you have any.

So it grew inside the slab?

I should start a thread... "Show Your Damaged/Detailed Coins Inside A Straight Graded Slab" 😂 😉

    Let’s just use this one.

Edit to add: you’ll just have to edit the thread title.

Before you criticize another you should walk a mile in his shoes. Then, you’ll be a mile away and you’ll have his shoes.

I think it turned in the slab. I see a greenish hue on my screen. Is that PVC?

Those slabs are not airtight. The slab was probably stored in a poor environment for an extended period of time.

This is an interesting phenomenon. If PCGS were to regrade it, what would it get?

That coin looks super familiar and I think we have seen it on the boards previously. But, yet, it almost certainly turned in the holder.

Didn't we have this same discussion about this coin previously?

I don't think it was the exact same discussion (it might have been) but yes, I've posted this coin before. I know, I'm getting old. I'm posting the same old crap, over and over again. I need a life! 😂

Both have PVC! I have them because of the early Cert numbers

I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.

Could be puttied. I know this is generally performed on gold, yet I've seen it on silver too.

Maybe. I would hope they’d try to get a better grade than 60 though😂

Can it be nasty water stains on those Peace $'s, common occurrence with improper rinsing after the acid bath.

It would have been great to see pictures of these coins right after they were slabbed years ago and today's pictures..... Oh well!
