I didn't take the cashout option on this one, as it became obvious by the time the player props all hit that, barring a miracle, Dallas was going to win.

Panthers are an interesting proposition tonight. Coming off a terrible beat-down last Sunday, against the then 1-5 Bucs. The Bucs did get Mayfield back, but still that was a brutal blow-out. And Mayfield only had 64 yards passing? Panthers played an awful mistake filled game.

Panthers are capable of a bounce back, off a bad loss, as they have shown that before.

I'll have to check for any boosts. With boosts, I may go with Panthers +3.5. No boost, no bet. Overall, the game is too much of a coin flip scenario in my view, to bet it without a boost.

A cashout is always on the table.

Just received this. Changes the entire dynamics of the wagering possibilities. Likely play the Panthers ML and hope the Panthers can sneak in an early TD, and get it over with.

This is a suggestion for anyone that plays an early win token. Take it for what is worth.

First, it requires either 2 separate sportsbooks, or a second proxy account with the same book.

Let's assume your bet max is $100.

Bet the early win token on the underdog, every time.
    .

    .
In this instance, $100 on the Panthers moneyline pays $166.
    .
Then, go to your second book and bet the minus money on the favorite to return $100. In this instance, it would take $185 on the Packers moneyline to return $100.
    .

    .
If the Panthers come out hot, grab the lead and never look back, you'll lose $19. If the Panthers never lead by 7, and the Packers win the game, you break even. But if the Panthers grab an early 7 point lead, but the Packers eventually win, you win both sides for $266 total.

You could mitigate the risk, somewhat, if you bet, say $173 on the Packers to win $93.50. You'll lose $7 if the Panthers win, $6.50 if the Packers win, or $259.50 if both sides come through with the Panthers 7 point lead and the eventual Green Bay win.
    .

    .
There are other more intricate ways to bet that promo and turn it into cash in your account, but let's master the easy stuff first. Lol

Two early lost fumbles by Green Bay, and the stinking Panthers couldn't grab a 7 point lead for crying out loud. 😒

Panthers showed a propensity to bounce back from bad losses a number of times, that is until ya bet on them. 😒

"The Carolina Panthers have ruthlessly fired both defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and defensive passing game coordinator Jonathan Cooley in the wake of Thursday's 19-27 defeat to the Green Bay Packers."

I wish they would have done this before the game. 😒

I lost both stabs at the SGP plays yesterday. One was no sweat, so not a big deal, but the Grizzlies one broke my heart, just for the fact that I did indeed hit the moneyline portion, which the underdog odds is what boosts the payout so nicely. I was never offered a profitable cashout, as it was clear a couple guys were lagging with their stats and unlikely to make it. Oh well. There's always another play on another day.

Here is my retail ticket for the Fanatics promo. Bet $100 on an NBA 3+ leg, minimum +300 parlay and get $100 back in Fan Cash comps. I lost my previous $100 bet this week under the same promotion, and have already used my $100 Fan Cash to purchase 2 Topps Heritage Football Mega Boxes direct from Fanatics - ships on or before November 17.

One of my favorite "hates" to call it that, is ya handicap a game perfectly, but something "weird" happens that Nostradamus couldn't predict, and it screws ya out of a nice score.

I realize that's the inherent risk of sports betting, and I've had lucky breaks in some games. But what bugs me is ya think it would all even out over time. But I'll be dam'd if the lucky breaks have evened out with the bad breaks.

Oh well, I don't know where to send the complaint form, so I'll just have to live with it. LOL

Does anyone think Northwestern isn’t getting much respect against Oregon? Didn’t Oregon lose their starting QB for the year?

At least three miracles were needed to win that parlay. I also played the Tulane ML

Even caught a rushing prop with around 20 seconds left in regulation. Needed 6 rushing yards on a running back who wasn't getting many carries. Suddenly he rushes for 6 yards to win the prop for me, and kept the drive alive.

Been doing very well since coming back off a break, and psyched for Saturday's and Sunday's card. Where I fully expect to give all the money back, and more. LOL

You're right, the Oregon QB, Dante Moore, is out for the rest of the season. Looking at the backup's stats, he seems competent. He's a junior and has played a lot of college football. He is prone to throwing picks, however it seems like he's been getting better at reducing that. Also one of the Oregon receivers, looks like a second stringer, was arrested recently and is out for the game. I'm guessing the game plan for him is handing off the football a lot, with short passes. Might make for a good running back rushing yards prop. I'll take a better look at that tomorrow.

The Ducks are always tough at home. But overall they've been on a downward slide this season. I think they were ranked #2 preseason. So hard to gauge a team that was high ranked early, but now way down from that.

Too much uncertainty for me. I think it's a coin flip. Might play that running back prop as mentioned.

Good luck whichever way you go.

I'm holding strong on light college action today, I'm tired of getting run over on Saturday and going into Sunday in the red

That 3's prop is interesting, with nice odds. May try that, now and then, if the book offers it.

I'm guessing the prop means the most 3's on both teams.

Perk those odds don’t even look right to me. 12 teams and it’s only +451with a boost? And isn’t Notre Dame about the only one that was a heavy favorite? Just seems like the odds should be longer…. a lot longer especially being college football where the upsets have been coming fast and furious. 🤔

My only bet for college is Northwestern moneyline. I have 3 NFL parlays one is a 9 team which I won the first 2 legs on MNF and TNF so I have 7 teams who can still screw me tomorrow.

They are all pretty big favorites

Pushing my good luck today, and I know I shouldn't do this, but I've got an expiring boost I gotta use, and I can't see anything else. Still a very nice day even if Boise can't get there.

Get a load of this box score. Basically at halftime, the posted prop was ahead of schedule to win handily, no problem. Then luck turns on a dime, as it always does. Sports betting - tough way to make a living.

    @Darin said:
Steve is at it again…. conceding a bet that turns out to be a winner. He said he had Boise over 470.5 total yards.

At halftime, I needed exactly 179 yards to hit the prop. Not a lock, but very doable. By that 7:10 mark left in the 4th quarter, I needed around 170 yards. Yes, in a quarter and a half of football, Boise only gained around 9 total yards.

When I posted that screenshot, Boise was on around their own 30 yard line. They had completely collapsed. The bet was lost. I wasn't happy about that, but it had been a very good day, so I turned off the channel. No sense watching it, the ESPN live game stats. Because even if Boise got their act together and scored a TD, I would have still needed around 100 yards to win the prop.

I figured by the time if Boise scored a TD, with the kickoff, etc, and the Texas possession, etc, let's say all went well. However a lot of time would run off the clock. Then Boise, would have gotten the ball back on say their 20 yard line. Even if they again got it together and scored another TD, that would have still only been 80 yards. So if all went well, I would still be 20 yards short of hitting the prop. Simply wasn't all going to happen, but it did.

Sure is nice being on the positive end on something like this, rather than the usual negative end. 😎

Looking forward to the NFL today to see if this good luck streak continues. Which I'm sure it won't. I'll be at the local soup kitchen by tonight, asking if I can please have some extra crackers. 🍲

Nothing really jumping out at me in this NFL card. I got a few "maybes" on my list. But right now it's probably going to be a no boost then no bet, kind of day. I'm more than happy to play coin flips, just as long as the boosts put the odds in my favor.

Haven't looked at any props yet. Perhaps something there?
