Another KUDOS to Great Collections

DisneyFanDisneyFan Posts: 3,009 ✭✭✭✭✭

Friends often send me e-mails thorough auction houses that request my opinion of a coin they are considering. Usually if the e-mail is from the auction house, and I forget to change the e-mail address to the friend's, the reply goes back to the auction house and not the friend.

Great Collections has now programed their computers to send the response to the friend and not back to GC!

Curiously, why don’t those friends simply email you directly?

Auction houses usually have a "Email this to a friend" link which makes it easy for the friends. Heritage uses "Share this lot." :)

The thing you have to watch out for is making sure who is buying the coin! You or the friend. :)

Sounds like they were tired of getting your misdirected emails :D

Superb collections are built more by omission than by addition.
