What's the Longest You've had a New Submission Sit in "Order Entry" ?

LuxorLuxor Posts: 615 ✭✭✭✭✭

For my most recent CC submission two more days will be a month since they got it. I would try calling CS to see what's up but we all know how that goes.

One of my recent submissions was received in late August. Tomorrow will be 40 business days (the estimated turnaround time for World Regular.) I have no belief it will be finished by then.

In the same package (also arrived in late August) I had a World Economy submission that has yet to even be tied to the online submission data (again, 39 business days.) Turnaround time (est.) is 60 business days, so it definitely isn’t getting finished any time soon.

Had a third order arrive on Oct 10 (US Regular) that hasn’t been acknowledged as received (you can submit the usps tracking and see it was picked up, but it’s not listed under Orders yet.)

It’s slow going over there. You can email them and get an eventual response explaining the turnaround times for your tier if you want.

Never for that long, for me lately its been a week. I'm currently waiting on a Regular sub dated 8/27 which has been encapsulation since 2 fridays ago.
Express takes a month. Maybe its time to rename that tier. ;)

Hopefully it gets resolved and entered into the system soon.

I'm not defending the wait times but I would imagine adding to PCGS's "To Do" List the need to respond to "Where's my order?" inquiries is something that won't speed up the process.

And wouldn’t you know, my final order just got scanned in to the system - although it now says it was received Oct 20 (when tracking shows they picked it up Oct 10 and their own tracker said it had been received Oct 12.)

Guess that’s one way to “buy” an extra week of processing time.

Latest submission arrived at host on 9/21, whisked into order entry on 9/28. There ever since. Hope that helps. Good luck. The END

Express 20 days for 5 , and counting. 100 coin bulk submission is 100 days and counting

I have a customer who thinks I’m lying to him and that I kept his coins.

Before you criticize another you should walk a mile in his shoes. Then, you’ll be a mile away and you’ll have his shoes.

If you were being serious, did you show him the status information you posted here?

I has one world regular is still showed as received (7/21). I am OK with that. I can wait. PCGS can take all the time they need. The result is more important than the speed. Another one is world economy 7/21 showed as QA.

Yeah. Even gave him pcgs’ number. He called but got put in a queue :joy: . I tried to tell him : ” It’s a waiting game”.

Then he should know you’re not lying. Shame on him.

So I’m kind of in this same frame of mind - it’s more important that a couple of my coins are properly attributed than how fast they get processed. However, the German side of me really wants things to be super organized and done in a timely manner. :)

The Italian side of me…just sitting here eating various cheeses and pastas and homemade baked goods hahaha…

I’m really interested to see if my pattern coin is genuine and straight graded. If it’s genuine, might be one of fewer than ten pieces made. That would be very cool to have verified.

I've been sending in mostly World Economy and Modern Value tier coins and here are my results:

This one is in QA so a out by Friday hopefully:

Not bad at all as far as I'm concerned... I do try to keep it at 20 coins per submission...

I’ve had (and currently have) orders in QA for literally months.

Something is seriously wrong over there.

I see.......well that pretty much answers the question on renewing my Platinum membership.

I'm not trying to discourage you from renewing. And in fact, I will be renewing.

But anything that causes the order to deviate the least bit from the standard workflow will cause a massive delay (probably because the staff isn't set up to handle such things).

My order above spend 2 days in QC and shipped yesterday...

I agree that any deviation will cause all sorts of issues...

I just checked a text I sent when my first order hit the Grading phase (because one coin was submitted on behalf of a customer, so I notify the coin shop at every stage) and it’s been sitting in Grading since Oct 7 with no further progress. I am now past the 40 business day turnaround time estimated deadline.

Maybe by the end of the year? Who knows. It’s 8 coins…not a big order.

How about logging an order I dropped off at a coin show? Left a coin for crossover at GACC 10/2 and it's been almost 3 weeks and it hasn't been logged into the system :#
