PCGS renewal lapse.....BIG letdown

safari_dudesafari_dude Posts: 720 ✭✭✭✭✭

So, I have been on the road for the past several weeks and THOUGHT my PCGS membership was automatically renewing as it usually does. Apparently it didn't.....and ALL my orders (past and in progress), all my registry collections, and all the coins that I registered have NOW DROPPED OUT and are no where to be found, even when I put in the submission #'s of orders I haven't received back. I had registered probably 350 or more coins, had several sets at the top....and all are now gone. I had hoped when I renewed my membership that everything would repopulate.....but it didn't. I won't be redoing it. Unbelievable.

I honestly had no idea that you were required to be a pcgs member in order to have a registry set?

    According to this:

    https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/mysetregistry/eula

    Online Registration is Free
There are no fees to register your set. Simply log-on, add your PCGS-graded inventory, and start your set(s).

I wonder why all mine disappeared then? Even my submissions/status of orders can’t be pulled up. Tried it in my iPad and tabletop and had the same result….’no submissions found’…..

This is where tagging @pcgs_social might help. Everyone else's response is going to be conjecture or otherwise unhelpful.

I don't know. I just went to look at the rules when it was suggested that one had to be a PCGS member to have sets in the registry.

Hi there! Your sets should not have disappeared – you do not need to be a member in order to access Set Registry. If you are sure you are logging into the correct account, this must be a glitch.

That said, a member of our team is already looking into this and will be in contact with you.

Ugh…thank you. This has me a bit concerned. Hopefully no one has hacked the account….

@pcgs_social -- is it true that one loses access to submission history when a membership lapses?

no, you should not lose access to sub history when a membership lapses. this is a unique issue. i messaged safari_dude.
