Still own the coin- a 1936 Satin proof in PCGS PR67 I purchased from Katy Duncan at Pinnacle in 2009. I miss her and Pinnacle - she was a great dealer to work with. Helped me build my Levoi Walker set, especially the early dates.

Mine is a spectacular tree growing outside a gyro shop in Eugene, Oregon

Do you guys say hero, euro, or guy-ro?

Gyro. Basically euro with a half-pronounced G in front of it.

I still own mine as well, which was purchased from Fred many years ago. Befitting of a lifelong love of flying single engines prop jobs to maintaining airliners for thirty years. I’m retired now, enjoying life as a sim pilot for fun.

Still own mine, often described as a spring loaded salamander with a pancake on his head!

It's actually a depiction of an embossing press manufactured by Merriam and Co.

This is the obverse, probably the most famous die in all civil war tokens.

I remember seeing these tokens in a post here some time ago. I snagged your image, since I live in Merriam, KS. Don't know when it will come in handy but I'm sure it will.

Not mine. I believe APMEX owns it. Just my favorite pattern and to me the best looking toned coin there is.

This is the coin in my avatar, purchased in October 1971 for $95, which was a major purchase for me at the time. I still own it, having had it for 55 years of its 147-year existence. I had it slabbed by PCGS in 1988, described on the rattler slab (erroneously, I believe) as Proof 65. I'm certain that it's a MS coin.

Countdown to completion of my Mercury Set: 1 coin. My growing Lincoln Set: Finally completed!
