I like the second one better, both are good 👍
Additional photos of the 1952.
Really nice
Nice '52! I have been looking for one with cameo designation with some toning for quite a while!
Erwindoc.
The 1952 is in Encapsulation. It may go into QA this coming week. I hope it receives a Cameo designation.
I have to ask, are the sellers not seeing this?
Wonder why they are not the ones submitting these coins
Good for you

Looking through proof sets and singles in OGP or aftermarket holders in shops, at shows and online is like a treasure hunt.
You never know what you will find.
Both toned dimes are examples of the above. The sellers did not look, or did look but do not care.
I remember back in the day when I went to shows and looked through the sellers coins. It got to the point that the sellers didn't want me to "cherry pick" the coins and sets. I do remember a few times it got heated. I just moved on from those sellers and still did my thing with others who didn't care.
I miss going to shows and do what you are doing, it's fun and can be very rewarding!

the 52 has nice colors on the periphery
The 1952 dime graded PF66, no CAM. I think the coin warrants a CAM designation. In any event it is very eye appealing.
Dip it and I bet you get it. Sucks they didn't give it to you.
I think the 1952 dime deserved a cameo designation too. The toning doesn't thickly cover the devices so the toning shouldn't have made the difference although I think ModCrewman's observation may turn out to be accurate.
Whether or not to remove the toning on this 1952 dime is a topic that would generate lots of water cooler discussion among collectors of these mid century silver proof coins.
If you owned this coin, what would you do?????
Please don't dip it.

Not worth the potential $65 upside going to cam
