No problems for me, are they using the right phone #?
i put it in and they sent me nothing. is there a way to set up inside your profile? I couldn't find anything.
I just tried to login, and was not able to.
I DO NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE!!!!!
I DO NOT HAVE ANY WAY OF GETTING TEXT MESSAGES!!!!!
I have a simple land line voice telephone; and I am sure that I am not the only person here without one!!!!!
WTF?????????????

i agree terrible way to log in. kind of discriminatory to some extent
I think they have an email a code option. It's been a while.
sign up at voice.google.com , you will need a microphone for you computer.
I've been using the service almost 18 years since before google owned it and it was called "Grand Central". Yeah google does en-suck-ify everything but shoudl be be all you need to receive SMS

There's a box to enter your phone #.
Below that is "How do you want to verify your phone? Message and data rates may apply." (It's just this question/statement; there's no option to pick).
Then below that, there's a "Verify" button.
So, the only method they have is for a text message to a cell phone.

The microphone and camera on my laptop computer have been deactivated, as I do not trust them; they seem to be far too easy for hackers/nefarious individuals to hack into.
Also, what is "SMS"?
Steve
What really pisses me off is that I can't even get into my account to make a necessary change to it.

My mom puts my phone number in for MFA and then calls me when she logs in. It’s not often enough to be a problem. If you have family with a cell phone I suggest that.
USB microphone. Plug in to use, unplug when done. In this case to receive SMS (aka Text) you wont even require that.

Thank you for the suggestions.....I do appreciate them.
The problem is, I am 64 years old, no family or friends who can help, and I am a near-total illiterate regarding computers.
I am just completely fed-up with this pre-occupation with text messaging. Why can't companies/people use email or a voice telephone? Plenty of us have a normal voice landline telephone and email; but do not have any of these stupid cell/smart/i-phones.
At this point, I've had it with PSA. I just want to cancel my collectors club membership; but I can't even do that since I can't access my PSA account!

OK, I just got a private message from someone at CU, and the problem is now resolved. They were able to change the requirement from a text msg, to email.
