    No idea.

I know President Nixon had special brown box proof Ikes that he presented to people, and that he also sent uncirculated examples to various people.

I admire the research and effort that went into developing the framework to pose the question

The 1971-S Eisenhower dollar in uncirculated silver (blue packs) gifted by President Nixon.

    Documented Recipient Census

Seven congressional recipients are presently documented through surviving letters and related auction, provenance, or specimen evidence. Five associated coins/specimens are presently identifiable; two known letters survive without their original coins. This distinction is critical because the documented recipient census and the documented surviving specimen census are not the same population. Documented in PNRF Case Study No. 7.
