Sure, I know but what upsets me the most is...
    A 5?
An 8 Knueppel? Sure it happens but...
Then I thought, maybe just maybe...
    A 10????
    Someone?
Oh well, The game of grading.

Exactly. Do you realize how many more cool cards you could own without the holder and label? Your economic position would improve as well. I know you love the process and the excitement. But you could be doing so much better for yourself.

That 5 is cruel Joey but I'm with those who believe it wouldn't be a good idea to resubmit.

Even at a 9, you lose money now. It's insane to sub those cards unless you don't mind losing money. Vintage (even 1989) is tough.

Terrible advice. The 5 will come back a 4/5/6 and he’ll be 80 bucks into a 20 dollar card.

My recommendation is no more grading, take the grading fees saved and buy ungraded cards, put them in CS1’s and enjoy collecting cards.

Best advice given! I started doing this a year or so ago with CS1’s and pages.

The 5 appears to have some wax stains on the back or ink perhaps but in the bottom left there is a dimple or defect in the surface and if it's visible on a picture it's probably a more significant flaw. Learn from your experience as it will improve your review before you submit.

Check the 2 chrome cards for very faint vertical roller marks/scratches. A lot of chrome cards have them and hurts the surface grade.

I enjoy watching you rip and get excited Joey.

The "hunt" - the key to ripping - IMO is where the fun lies - keep up the good work.

Seems exactly like gambling to me and like gambling at least in this case the house (PSA) always wins in the end.

Not always. If one knows how to play the game better than me, plus send in more. Than maybe, you can really come out ahead!
All it takes is one real magnificent card!

And precisely that is gambling...always chasing that one big win/score. Which even if you get you'll probably just sell it again for lower than going rate just to get more boxes to open.

Dont kid yourself its gambling! Unless your UFFDAH and have a track to swing the odds well in your favor via gained knowledge and contacts.

I may be gathering some more cards to PCGS?
    Mostly vintage...
I have a few Jordans and Paytons.
Although, I realize, this time the price has doubled.

    OK guys,
Here are the Cards in their PSA Holders!
Plus, the areas shown why they graded these numbers?
    Maybe?
I did check for any "print lines". or "Dimples." None found.
    Shlittler

Probably, like some had mentioned, the O/C.

    Then,
    The Kon Knueppel

    I can't believe I missed this?
    Two Areas.
Both on the "right side border"

    Then,
    The Griffeys.
    The PSA 9

    Now, the obnoxious "5"
    Two Areas

    Then on the back.

I'm guessing these areas are the reasons?
    Maybe?
So, now I get it. It's my fault!
If maybe, the Knueppel made a 9? Or the other Griffey made a 9? Either or.
    I would of been happy.
    All four are still Beautiful!
    Thanks guys
    Goodnight

You left the cert numbers in the bottom most pic also you left the barcodes exposed.

I mention that as you obscured the cert numbers in first several pics
