Quick review of the Philly card show 9/25-9/27/26
I took a trip to the Philly show this past weekend primarily to drop off a consignment to 4SC (PSA DNA autographed 1983 Topps and Fleer Tony Gwynn cards) and to fill in 1973 and 1974 Topps baseball sets. I needed about 100 1973's and got around 30. For the '74's I got about half of the 150 that I needed.
The show floor is quite large and breaks down like most: Vintage sports cards, shiny stuff and autographs. Even with just looking at vintage, I was there for over 4 hours (though a good hour was going through binders for my set needs).
Lots of stuff I could never afford but here are a few pics:

I remember seeing the same Plaks checklist at the show last December. No price on the Ted Williams Wilson Franks but 130 point shows a PSA 4 sold for $38K in May.
The trip to this show for me is around 1 hour & 45 minutes each way. If anyone knows of a nice show a little closer to the Baltimore (Bel Air Maryland) area, I'd love to know of it.

That checklist is SWEET. I'm all in on anything with Hank, Clemente and Dick.
Dig those non-MBA stickers.
Quite a variance on those PSA 5 ‘33 Goudey Ruths. Not sure the one marked $46,000 would get a PSA 5 now compared to the $50,000 one.
Inflated card show prices as always. Thanks for sharing.
Especially that particular seller.
