JOIN WITH US AS WE RETuRN THIS LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER TO ANCHORAGE ALASKA'S SPECTACULAR WILDERNESS PARK FILLED WITH AUTUMN FOLIAGE ALONG WITH, ONCE AGAIN, DISCOVERING MARAUDING MOOSE
Four times this year we have ventured hiking into the wilderness setting of Kincaid Park which is located just ten miles by a connecting coastal trail to downtown Anchorage. On each of those four occasions we have struck luck to see multiple Moose each time in their natural habitat.
In this Playlist consisting of five minute long music videos you are welcomed to share with us this last week of September's hike as the Park's massive trees have turned color with their now golden leaves glowingly lit by the early evening autumn sun.
First, share with us as we discover a pair of Moose under a canopy of the spectacular fall foliage.
Second, enjoy the Park's vistas of its beachfront ocean shore looking out across Cook Inlet to the Kenai Peninsula, Fire Island, and Mount Susitna.
Third, join with us as we revisit Kincaid Park's Climbing Tree which we return to each time we venture into the Park as we recall past year's visits accompanied by children, and then grandchildren, who have climbed it with us. The Climbing Tree with its outstretched sitting branch glows a special shade of orange-yellow that sets it apart from the other trees in Kincaid's autumn forest.
Fourth, hike with us as we walk along a trail bordered by rows of stunning huge trees dressed in their fall colors along with the evergreens standing as sentinels between them.
Fifth, and finally, enjoy looking up at the welcoming still blue early evening sky above Kincaid Park where a high flying jet creates an awe inspiring contrail.
