Stamps coming back to Heritage
Anyone else get this email from Heritage? I would post on the stamps forum but figure more people will see it here.
“We're delighted to share some news that we think will appeal to your interest in history and collecting: Heritage Auctions is relaunching the Stamps category, serving collectors of United States and international stamps and postal history.
For those of you who collect coins, currency or historical material, stamps offer another fascinating way to explore the past. Whether you're already a devoted stamp collector, have a collection you haven't revisited in years or are simply curious, we'd love to welcome you.
Leading the category are Charles Shreve, Vice President, Stamps, and Tracy Carey, Consignment Director, two respected professionals whose ties to Heritage go back decades. Charles joined Steve Ivy in 1980 to establish Steve Ivy Philatelic Auctions, and Tracy began her career there in 1988. Their return is a happy homecoming and an exciting opportunity to bring their expertise to our collecting community.
Charles has been involved in the sale of more than $1 billion in rare stamps, including material from William H. Gross' celebrated collection. Tracy brings more than 37 years of auction experience and a reputation for knowledgeable, personal service. Together, they'll pair a lifelong dedication to philately with the resources and global reach you know at Heritage.
Our inaugural Stamps auction is planned for early 2027”

If stamps are making a comeback, POGS should too.
That'll be fun. I'm looking forward to it

Is there a renaissance in postage stamps?
Better material has always been in demand. It's a very bifurcated market. Something of an extreme case of what you see with coins.

I haven't collected stamps for decades, but this should be interesting to watch. Hope it goes well for Heritage.
