My only toned Trade dollar

I've seen many a toned proof but not all that many MS or circulated toners. I found this one at the summer 2026 FUN show and it did appeal to me. Not monster toning by any means, but attractive. What really drew me to this coin was the untoned patch on the reverse, which I think gives it character.
It grades AU-58+ and has a green CAC sticker.

AU-58+ with a green bean is a solid grade for a Trade dollar, toned or not! Finding one with original-looking color and character like that untoned spot makes it even better. Congrats on the FUN show find!
Beautiful coin, great grade (my personal favorite), any CAC sticker is always good, and love the date. Interesting to ponder how the coin might have remained untoned in that one particular area of the reverse…. Hmmm.

And you're right, it's tough to find toned business strike trade dollars with attractive, colorful toning. It has a similar look to my 74-CC.
Terminal patches but there is some good color in there.
These were my most colorful examples but both got moved along to new homes.
