I'm seeing the price of one of these at $250 or best offer. Where do you think they will end up $150 or $175 or lower.

$140 (will see)
I am not sure, but I think the mintage is higher than a lot of the NIFC Kennedys. (For example the Average Mintage of NIFC P&D Kennedys is about 3.4 Million, and the current, but not final production of the Enduring Liberty Half is already over 9.7 million, making it 3 times more common.)
People may up for novelty coins these days, especially if they are from the US Mint. They will no doubt regret it. I personally inherited a bunch of 1776-1976 unc and proof Eisenhower mint sets from my father-in-law, a cold war patriot. I'm waiting for them to be rediscovered by the younger generations, including his own grandchildren who show little interest in coin collecting - yet. But when I asked my nephew what he knew about Ike, he sort of looked puzzled. When I said Eisenhower, he said, like the Freeway?
Another interesting thing is the number of them submitted to PCGS and NGC is way higher. PCGS is making a killing. I think a slabbed MS65 is currently going for $170 or so. Not bad for a clad production strike. There are only 3 MS69's so far, and Zero MS 70s - no surprise there,
There are some quality issues, so condition is king. I suspect that in the end, only MS65 and above will have a premium. There will be a lot of people who submit to PCGS and get back a MS 63 or lower. Not a great investment.
Personally, I have admit to falling for the hype and bought a few from "mint rolls" - not OGP, but from a flipper when they first came out. I was kind of disappointed that with all the flat fields and devices, there were a couple of hairline scratches. I watched a few youtube videos where various roll-hunters were opening bank rolls and saw the same thing. High quality examples will of course fetch bigger dollars. MS70 graded examples
I made a mistake, and am unable to get the edit button to work.
Re: the topic. I didn't think twice. I assumed you were referring to the Standard 2026 Enduring Liberty Half dollar (9,7 million mintage thus far).
The 2026-W Always Remember 9/11 Privy Half Dollar has a mintage of just 250,000 coins. It will be in pocket change, and thus is a treasure hunt-modern rarity, like the 2019-2020-W quarters.
So I would expect a huge premium for them, even raw. But its another case of artificial scarcity and privy marks. I would expect if any are found in circulation they would be certified and graded. I would expect them to sell for well above the average, so $200-$250 at first. there seems to be a sucker born every day. But let the hunt begin!
I'm seeing the 9/11 AR halves now on ebay, BINs going for around $300 to $350 raw.

Same # as the SemiQ dollar privies. Those started out high and fell once the quantities appeared.
The halfs are tougher to find, but people are looking, and since halfs don't circulate they should mostly be in uncirculated condition.
An auction just closed at $207.50.

these will come down too, just like the quarters
$100-140 this year, $50-$100 long term. Same for both July 4th privies. 250k mintage on all 3.

I dont understand why they minted more of these. They were supposed to be for the families of those lost on 9/11. Why in the world did this turn into a treasure hunt for the rest of us?
