FYI, someone on eBay is selling copies of the book State Medals for War Service, 2nd edition. This book was published in 2006 and it's been out of print for ages. None of the usual used book sellers has a copy, either.
I wouldn't say this is a "must have" book... but I bought a copy for myself and I'm fine with what I got for $40-ish.
If you don't care about medals, then you don't care about this book. On a quick flip, most of the listings are for ribboned medals, while the few non-ribboned pieces have interesting info about types that I already knew were important.
This is not a for sale post. I have nothing to do with the eBay listing. This is just an FYI to let other folks know, in case anyone was looking for this book and not finding a copy for themselves either.
