When they took him out his daughter ran out to the mound to give him a hug. Cool moment and he kind of disregarded the no crying in baseball thing. 😄

Max took a start today on short rest to see if he could pass Verlander on the all time K's list. started the day 10 behind. He struck out 7 to wind up 3 behind for their careers.

I was surfing YouTube and saw his daughter running out on the field and escort him off the field, that was really nice and an emotional scene, he hugged his daughter for a while and was crying after, that was a really nice moment
Congrats to Verlander
I would not be surprised at all to see Scherzer come back in 2027 for his 20th season (that being the nice, round number that it is). Verlander pitched 21 years.
