Question about grading an off-center strike

On the coin below, would the arc shaped mark at 11:00 on the obverse, and/or the scratch at 7:00 on the reverse preclude a straight grade? What about the deformity of the date numerals? I guess that's two questions, but thank you in advance for your thoughts.

    i don't see anything to prevent a straight grade

    but it is not valuable enough to be graded

    The marks you ask about are completely typical. If that doesn't straight grade, there's some other reason.

    That said, the cost of grading is about the same as the value of the coin. It's hardly worth while.

    I don’t see anything to preclude a grade. Counting wheel damage is usually the risk with those since they’re misshapen.

    It should straight grade, but I agree with the others that it is cost prohibitive to do so.

    There are other options. How much would ANACS charge to grade and slab it?

    Thanks all. My son's birth year. To slab would really be more for long-term preservation/convenience. That said, if I did slab, I'd prefer it straight grade, and I'd likely go the ANACS (or even ICG :open_mouth: ) route. The experts just happen to reside here. : )

    Nice error coin. I agree it should straight grade, unless cleaned or something else not seen in the pictures.
