CRUISING THE NILE ON A NILE RIVER CRUISE SHIP - NEWLY POSTED YOUTUBE VIDEOS & PHOTOS

Sailing between Luxor and Aswan on a Nile Cruise Ship is experienced in this below linked Video Playlist.

The first video is taken as the sun rises over the Nile with the ship having departed Luxor headed to Aswan with a scheduled port stop at Kom Ombo.

The second video captures views from the upper deck of the Nile Cruise Ship as it plies the Nile Waters proximate to Kom Ombo. This includes viewing other similar sized Nile Cruise Ships in the water and views of the temple at Kon Ombo, the port's main attraction.

Kom Ombo's Greco-Roman Temple is dedicated to two different Egyptian Gods, Horus, God of the Sky and Sobek, the Crocodile God. As seen from the cruise ship, the left side honors Horus and th right side Sobek.

In this second video one also sees the adjacent city as well as views of the cruise ship's own top deck.

The third video in the playlist affords a shared experience of cruising itself on the Nile. It is filmed as the ship approaches its destination of Aswan. Seen in the expansive Nile River waterway are smaller boats with their stunning sails spread out fluttering in. the wind. The video captures the impressive beauty of a journey on the Nile, the world's longest river that stretches from deep in Africa to the Mediterranean.

Traveling Egypt on a Nile River Cruise from the Pyramids at Giza to the Cliff Temples of Abu Simbel

A featured high light is a visit to Abu Simbel to view the cliff temples that were lifted and relocated in the 1960s to preserve them from being submerged in the newly created Lake Nassar when the Nile’s High Dam was constructed.
