It looks like the predictions of everyone for the Comic Book gold has come to pass, with the ats for the upcoming Comic Art 24-Karat Gold Proof Coin – Supergirl at only 1800. This is less than the 2026 Liberty Bell Ringing Freedom gold coins.
This ats number may not include the amount offered to dealers, so it may be higher, also the mint has in the past placed a low ats only to raise it later.
However the trend is there, and it is likely that later comic book gold sells even less. Since the mint is able to keep these up on sale until they sell out competely, the big question is how many they strike for sale, and is why the ats number is what matters for collectors.

That’s about 1700 to many being offered! This set is even a worse idea than the first spouse series.
They still have 4105 ATS of the Superman gold from last year. Batman 2624, Wonder Woman 3106.
Looks like they're setting more reasonable expectations this year. No on-sale date for Green Lantern yet.

My only "claim to fame" on these is that a coin of mine was featured in one of CAC's "Coins of The Week" articles - woo-hoo lol... Pop 2 for 70 DCAM. Maybe I'll get my money back...

When the Ag Medals hit $200 & $400 on the reprice, I bailed. And the gold is now dynamically priced near $3500 per.
