This coin is currently being auctioned at Great Collections. It celebrates the bicentennial of the first balloon flight. It is a newish coin (1983), but nonetheless beautiful. Alas, it's out of my price range, and it likely will sell well above the current $3500 bid, and well beyond its gold value. Hard to believe, but Numista says the mintage was only 34 coins. Just felt like posting this.

Even more fortunately my French coin collection does not included modern gold. I could buy multiple sixteenth century copper pieces for the cost of that one
