How about the mighty but fraudulent Dodgers dropping 2 in a row against the Cards

Wonder how many bettors got hurt falling into that?

Dodgers go up 3-0 in the first with Yamamoto on the mound and St. Louis yanked their starter..........and the Cardinals win by 2 runs.

imagine the ML after the 1st inning

you just know some drunk Angeleno dropped a titshon to win a little

gambling is like traversing a battlefield with 1,000 hidden howitzers

sure, you might be able to walk a few hundred yards, but the moment a scintilla of complacency sets in, you'll get vaporized in a blink

two nights ago i had the Cubs up 3-0 going into the 5th to finish off a parlay

    birds were chirping everywhere

then i heard a loud explosion and my head ended up 1/4-mile away

    Milwaukee won by 5 runs

you'd think. but i'm under the impression that the Dodgers are paper tigers, even though they're 25 games above .500. i've seen too many teams that have had their way with them in a way i never expected.

St Louis' season ends in 22 games and there's no pressure on them. plus, they're calling up guys who have been mashing in the minors, and they're slowly putting together a formidable lineup. everyone knows about Baez, but two nights ago they called up another stud prospect (Bernal) who has 4 RBI in his first two games. they've hung 21 on the big bad Dodgers in 2 games. if they get to Skubal tonight, then the blueprint will be created and i certainly wouldn't be afraid of LA comes playoffs time if i was a team like Milwaukee.

and speaking of them, the Mil-Chi series has been the world's largest roller coaster ride thru the first 3 games of the series.

no clue what to expect with either game, really. i basically grabbed my balls and took the best SP in each matchup.

I knew they were massive underdogs to start, 2nd quarter they had a lead and were ready to go in again and saw the ML was -160 so I jumped on it with the boost

These ridiculous upsets happen in about 1 in 20 games where the game is supposedly going to be a cupcake, just rate enough that if you throw money on every one and hit your still going to either break even or lose lol

    @perkdog

i have a feeling we're going to see a few of those types tomorrow. no one really knows what to expect out of any of these teams without a sample size. even Neon Deion pulled it off last night. that was smart to pounce on UMass.......the handwriting was definitely on the wall.

i watched Skubal pitch for the first time last night and i wasn't impressed. he wasn't fooling the Cardinals' hitters and was very fortunate to only give up two runs. i think they got 10 hits off of him before he exited. if i'm a team like Milwaukee, give me Skubal in the playoffs. give him to me twice in a series. match him up against Mis.......i'd welcome that in a heartbeat.

my parlay is extremely lucky to still be alive..........St Louis should have swept them

My early NFL bet likes for week 1. Will combine in some way these 4 picks:Giants,Texans, overs in Cleveland and Denver tilts.
You all can be winners, just bet opposite of what I bet. 😀

my team 10-team, 21-point teaser produced a 70% success rate. every team i selected was getting at least 7 touchdowns, and 3 of them couldn't cover that figure. :D

but all in all, a profitable day for me yesterday. we all know i need as many of those as humanly possible.

    let's keep it rolling...

Those marathon teasers where teams are getting astronomical points are roads I refuse to travel this season

I like this bet, Ole Miss should be able to handle Louisville and I like the Pats to keep it close

I wonder if I should cash this in. I think I placed this about a month ago. These teams have to win their division and the guardians are getting really annoying trying to catch the White Sox.
And the Rays are playing in Atlanta tomorrow while the yanks have the Rockies at home.

    Damn that's a tough call

White Sox have a 2.5 game lead, I'm not going to tell you what I'd do because that's a decent sized bet

Hope you make out and get positive money no matter what

I think I’ll just cash out and not have to worry about it anymore. I could use that money for NFL bets. If I had put that $400 in the stock market and turned it into $518 in a month that’s an excellent return. It’s just such a tough decision because it’s just so close to the end of the season. 🤔

It’s not just that the Guardians could catch the White Sox but also the Yankees have a much easier schedule than the Rays the rest of the season and they could still get Judge back.
And if both those teams start gaining ground my $518 offer will drop quickly.

Edit- cashed out now on to the NFL for me.

let me tell you what type of bet this is. this is galaxy, a non-smoker, needing a cigarette. i have the Pats as the 2nd & final leg of a tease me, but there is zero chance i can abstain until Wednesday.

is that a classic symptom of a degenerate? the cigarette overpowers your willpower? how am i supposed to be a productive member of society when i'm wobbling around running into things because i'm in dire need of a hit?

    Oh no!
They have 80 wins and the next two games are with the Angels and then three with KC. Not good! 😩
After that their schedule gets tougher but I have about zero faith in my team helping out your buddies.

    @Darin

i need to see how tomorrow night's game plays out, then i'm with you on UT

lived in Texas all my life, but i've never felt a gravitational pull toward the Horns. in fact, i find their program to be very pompous. very Dallas Cowboys-esque. haven't won jack in ages, yet prior to every season their arrogant expectations are in the clouds.

that said, when it has been 20+ years and you keep raking in top recruiting classes and attract the best transfers, it's going to happen eventually

idk if they are going to chip it up this season, but this weekend's game at home against the Buckeyes feels like signature win time
