As a Big Ten fan I think it’s quite interesting. That Conference sort of snuck up on the SEC. Only 2-3 years ago all you heard was “The Big 10 is Ohio State and Michigan and a bunch of cupcakes.” Now it’s Indiana, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State.
How did that happen??
Did he not put James Madison on the map though?

Before Cignetti, Indiana was the worst college football team in history.

Well GT got screwed. Their own fault getting the last FG blocked but they had a fumble recovery TD called back from a insanely quick whistle. Guy wasnt even down or stopped

Oklahoma. Any injuries could change that but right now them. Michigan does have a better coach now and I think they could be a problem next year but Underwood hasnt s shown anything yet and this his first chance this year to do so. If he can show something this year other than WR they have the pieces.
8-4 is probably about as low as they could go with that schedule

I'm kinda leaning toward the Sooners as well. Michigan has the home field advantage. I think its going to come down to how well Michigan's defense can contain Mateer. If Mateer has a bad day, I think the Sooners will lose.

As long as he isnt throwing pick 6s their defense is very good and could win them the game, When hes bad hes bad but unlike Underwood he can run a little bit. Covering the spread is a different story, but Underwood needs to show something before I have faith in him.

I thought today was a good "pre-season tune-up" for Ohio State, they played well but it's early in the season and they clearly need to work on certain areas, primarily the O-line and run blocking. The D-line/linebackers of Ball State were clearly the strength(s) of the team and it showed with the Buckeyes struggling early on to make and sizeable gains. Plenty of pleasant surprises with several true Freshman contributing and showing they might be a big part of the team.
Texas will be a test for sure but it's hard to tell just how much Ohio State showed. I'm sure the Longhorns will see some looks next week that they're unfamiliar with.

Oregon had to come from behind and leave their starters in for the entire game to beat what AI says is the 301'st Nationally ranked team which doesn't cast a good light on Dan Lanning and company. To make matters worse, it was a home game for the Ducks.
No matter, I still think Oregon has maybe the best uniforms in College football.

I think Boise State might have been underrated but Oregon didn't look great on D so that is not a great look

Difference was one played a conference opponent on the west coast and one played a team that was a 50 point underdog at home of course Smith was going to have a big game But yes both are in the conversation for the best.,

Its Western Michigan. Michigan should have won that game by 30. Their 5 hardest games are left and yes I am watching the LSU Clemson game over that. I know what happened though and every player at every position on Michigan is better than what they just played and won by 1. Everyone else blew out the teams they were paying to take a loss. Michigan paid them 1.5 mil and played at home

Unbelievable they got a second that didnt exist. Western Michigan should have still defended the play better but game was over on the first miss. Im not sure theyre beating PSU anymore after that

I sure hope the Hawkeye camera angle shows a definitive one second on the clock for Michigan because there's no excusing that call otherwise. Michigan, especially Bryce Underwood, looked awful. I expected road bumps but...yikes. I expected Whittingham to have them more ready. And, yeah, WMU is a quality MAC school but c'mon.

Another thing to remember about that supposed "phantom 1 second" is that although the NFL will state that the Stadium Clock is the official game time the Side Judge or one of on field officials is tasked with keeping the official time. Logically, in an instance like what happened last night he will have the last word. In this case, his time apparently showed some fraction of time remaining, at odds with the field clocks which is precisely why it's done that way.
I understand we are in a Politically inspired age of Conspiracy Theories and Theorists, but like most they are all just garbage.
