Hey, I was working on getting to 200.

Most of you already know this but when you click on the poster's name, you can see their post count, when they joined, and when they last posted unless they have their profile blocked. When buying a coin from someone on the BST who you aren't familiar with, this is a necessary consideration. I won't buy an expensive coin from someone who has joined recently and who has a low post count unless they are willing to ship the coin first for examination prior to payment.

There are some people who just post drivel, but a lot of others who spent many years and much time, contributing and offering information and insight, to earn their post count. So, I don’t think it’s fair to strip that away.

are both true, then it stands to reason that post count is of no use in determining whether any particular poster is worth paying attention to.

Nothing is 100% in life. Every field has its good and bad. But, I think there are a lot more good posters here than otherwise. So, that is still no reason to punish the beneficial ones.
