U.S. Mint now Using Bags To Ship in???
Just received my Morgan and Peace Dollar orders. 1 of the 4 came in the usual box, but 3 came in black bubble bags. even though I knew what they were, still had to open one with 'what did they really ship to me?'. Has anyone else had orders shipped with these bags??? No opinion yet on how, or if I do, like it.
I'll come up with something.

This is the biggest news to drop since the new mint tape.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Was the bubble mailer sealed with tape? If so, was it clear tape or the new brown tape?
Seriously though, I had a couple items ship in the bubble mailer, maybe a year ago. If I remember correctly, they were also Morgan and Peace dollars. I was not a fan. One of the boxes was a bit beat up, although the coin was fine. I don't feel the bubble mailer offers the same protection of the boxes.
Would love it if it had minty tape on it just saying
Since no one has answered your question yet, I will - there’s a decent chance that you’re not the only one.

So, I'm not special?

Of course you are. Everybody is.
It looks like this. No tape on the flap, just the adhesive.
Absolutely no tape whatsoever, exactly the same as zride3 posted. Thanks for [posting that! I was away from laptop since posting
Maybe the tape was too expensive and the black bubble bags are really cheap? I have yet to get anything in a bag yet...still the little boxes...and tape...lots of tape.
My EU Peace showed up today in the black bag. My 2 EU Morgans arrived today in the usual box but with the fancy tape.
I will not be pleased if my BoM shows up in the black bag.
In November 2024 the Mint mailed out a bunch of Flowing Hair Silver Medals in white bubble mailers.
Similar complaints then, like we have today.
I think the Mint ran low on boxes then, and now, and they'll be back soon enough.
Imagine how many boxes that they've been shipping out the last several months, 100's of thousands. Staggering...
