I removed the paint/stickers from a few Silver Eagles last night and found this...

One of them had what seems like gold plating beneath the paint. Strange that they would cover the gold plating, anyone ever seen this before?

After all these years my wife still thinks I'm sexy. Every time I walk by she says "What An Ass"

    I said gold plate, you're right it's not plated it's gilded.
