One of my side collections is of coins featuring Dinosaurs on them. Since the United States has yet to produce any coin with extinct, terrible lizards on them, the collection currently consists of coins from around the world. Today I received the six coins pictured below, two of which feature other extinct creatures.

    These are medals, but a cool set. Made at the Mexican Mint.

    Issued in silver, bronze, and brass I believe. But the price is kinda crazy, so I never bought them.

    I love a topical/themed collection! Personally, I collect non-eagle birds in numismatics.

    I am disappointed in the lack of fodder for this post. There are not many coins featuring dinosaurs without reverting to the sensu stricto definition.
    This needs to be fixed.
