Feels so good to have the pre-season on now!!! I love summer but geez it gets boring when you have a sports routine every evening (since I watch the NHL as well). Good food and football!!!

Lets go Bills & Packers (as a Canadian I do not have a city I prefer I just stick with a few teams that I follow each year). I watch any team if those 2 are not on.

I also enjoy college football as well so that will start next weekend.

    I am a Mariners fan, so yea , I am always happy when the NFL is back on, as a Mariners fan for 48 years now the season is usually over by april 15th.

    Football IMHO, is the greatest team sport of them all. Particularly the NFL. Those guys are pure warriors, sacrificing their bodies for the game, and I respect that immensely.

    Plus the nature of football sort of makes it like a military maneuver of sorts, gaining ground, etc. But no M7 rifles are used to the best of my knowledge. LOL

    Dallas will be considered playoff contenders even though they are terrible, Sports Talk shows will think KC and Philly are going to be the Super Bowl teams, Aaron Rodgers will embarrass himself in Pittsburgh, Buffalo will lose in the playoffs again, Cincy will come out of the gate losing only to turn it around late season and it will be a calculus equation to realize their playoff chances

    Other than all this it should be fun and interesting!!!!

    That choice was a foregone conclusion as soon as Watson was healthy enough to walk. Some quick thoughts after reading the beginning of the linked announcement:
    HC Todd Monken didn’t make any decisions on the choice.
    The fans weren’t wrong in booing Watson, it was for 2 reasons. Pure disgust for his past performance and what he was presently doing.
    It’s anyone guess how long he’ll stay as the starter. I don’t expect him or the team to succeed.

    It's odd that they'd name Watson with one pre-season game left and after he hasn't played particularly well.
