Found this today taking daughters dog for her walk. I've never seen a 1776-2026 dime in this condition. LOL

    Looks like it has been run over by a vehicle more than a few times.
    Could be in the running for most damaged coin award.

    The burrs should wear down fairly quickly if this dime is mixed in with other pocket change which will burnish the surfaces of this dime.

    An elderly lady had her late husband's two prized coins (she thought) set aside for me to evaluate. One was a nickel with the 1803 date. I turned it over and showed her the 2020 date or something. Another was an ancient with "copy" printed on the back.

    Based on the shading in the picture, the arrows are pointing to what appears to be a bend or dent.
