Anyone familiar with this case or grading service?

Wondering if this is just a generic case or real service. Can't find anything on the net about it. Any help appreciated

Looks like an NGC knockoff since its NCG

Llamas and alpacas are camels. They aren't like camels, or related. They are camels. When was anyone going to tell me this?! How long had Bill Nye been holding out on us?

If you can’t find anything on the net about it, you should look upon the coin as being ungraded.

It's not graded but I'm just curious if this is from a large dealer or some kind if promotion. I've seen legit us mint coins in Franklin mint issued holders before.

Can we get a pic of the reverse side of the slab?

The short answer is that it does not matter who it is from; anyone could have done it. Most likely it was just an individual wanting to make his coins appear more desirable or valuable to the uninitiated buyer.

Basically an NCG holder isn't a reputable grading company and it holds no premium. If a coin comes in a NCG holder I would be very suspicious of the coin.

Most often I will see a grade on their slabs for the encapsulated coin.

But almost never do I agree with their grade.

Am I missing something? I don't see a date, denomination, or grade shown on the label.

It’s a self slabber (someone who puts coins into generic slabs). Sometimes it’s done to deceive unsuspecting buyers while other times it’s just a way to store a raw coin in a slightly more secure place than a flip or capsule.

If they don't show a grade on the slab, how will CAC know if it's sticker worthy or not? ;)

I didn’t see anything that caused me to question it,

That’s a nice holder with those gold coins on it.
