Do you know what goes really well with coins?

SanctionIISanctionII Posts: 13,086 ✭✭✭✭✭

Coins and Classic Cars; and even better Coins On Classic Cars.

I am hanging out in Carmel, Cal. for a fews days attending Carmel Car week.

Ran across this Vintage automobile that got my immediate attention.

My literal answer before I opened the thread was β€œcars!”
I didn’t expect that to be the actual topic, though. Awesome!

The "coins" around the gear shift are all Chinese fakes, so there's a good chance
no genuine Morgans were harmed in making "Lucky Buck".

If you’re ever in Nashville, check out Nudie’s bar on Broadway. There’s a full-sized Cadillac convertible hanging from the wall above the stage. All the upholstery, seats, inner-linings, dashboard, etc… are inlaid with Morgan dollars. Then there’s the bar… the longest in Nashville at 100+ feet, also fully inlaid with @ 9,500 Morgans under a coat of lacquer.

The buckets by the cars are for charitable donations. The event (Carmel Car Week) sponsors charitable fund raising.
