If your goal is to make money or as a substitute for employment, then yes, a waste of time and money.

If your goal is to have fun and you find it enjoyable, then absolutely not a waste of time or money.

It is by no means spiritual but when I put the above post into it it generated 2 1/2 pages of text that had nothing to do with anything @lkenefic or I had said. The text was about a new unified field theorem!!! but it ended with this;

Me- The world is changing exceedingly quickly but cognition is not. The status quo is failing to keep up. To paraphrase Copilot in symbolic language might be best expressed as "Passion is procedural, not categorical, and not abstract".

AI is simply working toward fitting in in the real (human) world which is both abstract and concrete and the concrete is where passion lies.

Not sure of the sport but I’m selling privy marked quarters for a roll searcher. He is averaging $180 per coin and found 900.

Not everything is profit driven… if you enjoy it knock yourself out.

Last night I searching through $200 of rolls of Washington quarters looking for the 2026 Privty July 4th quarters while watching the Yankee game. Yankees lost and didn't find any Privty quarters. Total waste but will do both again.
