Hate on, it’s wasted energy.

LeBron currently is my most hated active pro player in any sport. Despite his obvious first ballot HOF talent, I can't stand the guy. I didn't like Michael Vick either, but I guess I'll have to put up with it for two years.
This isn't a signing like Dr J for the Sixers many years ago. Erving was in his prime, and Philly loved him, still do. While LeBron is going to have a very short window to perform at a high level, and keep performing at a high level, or he will be booed mercilessly.
"LeBron James s signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul."
As wealthy as LeBron is, this contract is like him finding a quarter on the sidewalk.
He wants to be part of a thriving sports market right now. Philly is a good place to be a famous athlete.
I was actively hoping that he would not go to the Celtics. great player and would certainly had helped, but I just cannot root for him. even if he played for my team.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I'd rather the Sixers signed Caitlin Clark, to be the first woman player in the NBA.
😉
Ann Meyers, drafted into the NBA about 50 years ago .
AI Overview
Ann Meyers did not play in an actual NBA game, but she made history in 1979 by becoming the first woman to sign a contract with a National Basketball Association team.
She signed a free-agent contract with the Indiana Pacers and participated in their preseason training camp and tryouts, but she was ultimately cut from the team before the regular season began. You can read more about her groundbreaking career and sports legacy on Wikipedia.
I sure don't plan on reading any more about it. LOL
Ann Meyers is the sister of UCLA and NBA player David Meyers.
Dr J is my favorite NBA/ABA player of all time. That 1983 team was one of the best.

Andrew Toney, a member of that champ team, is my fav Sixer of all time
Dr. J, Moses Malone, Maurice Cheeks, Andrew Toney, Marc Iavaroni started for the 76rs that year. Bobby Jones came off the bench.
That was one heck of an NBA Championship team (for the 1982-1983 season).
Moses was unstoppable that year.
The Boston strangler. Great player. Too bad he had a short career.

You got it wrong.
Moses predicted:
FO-FO-FO
He did not predict 4-4-4
hahaha, i stand corrected!!!
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I can only imagine the level of hate expressed by some of you guys when LeBron is elected to the HOF.
Why do you let him rent space in you head?? To me, it says more about the hater than LeBron.

Hes just ring chasing. The most likely scenario is 1 of 2 thing. He wins a ring the first year and retires or or he becomes a role player in the second year. Hes not the best player on that team and father time is undefeated

My guess is, LeBron’s best days are behind him; this deal will fizzle; and it will be a colossal failure. Think of the Jets acquiring the old Green Bay quarterbacks.
@BillJones, apples and oranges.

Older athletes, who are past their prime, don’t perform as well regardless of the sport. He’s 41 years old.
@BillJones said: He’s 41 years old.
Points: 20.9 PPG/Assists: 7.2 APG/Rebounds: 6.1 RPG...........While his numbers have slipped the only real difference in his game is the number of minutes he plays. That is indeed a reflection of his age and understandable. His minutes last year were 33/game. As I stated earlier, he will be fine as a 6th man who rotates in fresh and allows others to catch their breath for a short while.
Compare that to the QB's you mentioned who were probably done but suckered the franchise into signing them on false hope. Lebron James takes care of his body.

usually older basketball players lose their foot speed first. that means defense is the first thing to go. lateral quickness exits the building. Lebaby will still put up 18-20 points a game but will not show up on defense like he used to
