Copper is king!
Eventually, governments will allow copper currency melting. Just as $ilver and Gold. Thoughts?

Looks like very space-consuming waiting game. Better enjoy them in the meantime.
I have always suspected there is plenty of melting going on. Some of it will be done with a wink and some will be done by people who have the equipment. Think people who do knife forging, blacksmithing, casting, jewelry, etc. It doesn't take a lot of equipment. Just melt and pour into a mold. No one would know or care and I doubt the government would know. I personally have not done it but I have always thought it silly that they made it a legal sin to do. They didn't stop silver or gold melting so why just this? Would be more ecologically friendly than mining for more.
I thought this thread was going to be about coins like this....Not my coin.....
I think he put it on the wrong forum.
By the time he gets around to melting the copper, the stock market will have increased by a factor of 10.

Those tubes look like the ones that shrink over time if that happens you’ll be smashing them to get your coins out.
Don't worry...they burn off during the melting process!

jmlanz,

Don't worry, I am heavily invested in copper stocks FCX, TGB, etc. I was just pointing out that copper was at an all-time high and going higher IMHO.
Cheers.
Good luck investing.

I worked at FCX for 14 years. Still in the same town as a financial advisor. Cooper being up is great my area. Keeps my old friends employed.
Which is why this should have been in the Metals forum, not the coin forum.

My thought: I would be flamed for posting about copper on the precious metal forum board.
I guess I got flamed no matter where I post about coppers historic run. Oh well. Best of luck to all
Cheers.

Interestingly, you didn't post about "coppers historic run" (sic).
