I just received mine. In addition to the usual clear tape, mine had the front/outer edge taped with a brown tape of a different material. I was concerned it may have been opened, revealed, and returned before I received it. Has anyone else had this type of brown tape on this, the Mercury dime set, or any other items?

Yes. My Enhanced did not arrive that way, but my BOM did. That's why I struggled opening it and my Hollis note fell on the floor unnoticed for two days.

All of the eBay flippers that are selling the "Mint Sealed Box" have this brown reinforcement tape over the front flap.

It seems some were available as some folks have cancelled their original order that is in a backorder in hopes of catching this at its new price of $5,220.

This really is a very beautiful coin. It's nicer than I expected. I don't think the pictures do these justice. I was pretty upset about spending this much money. I kind of still am. But, I have to say it is a extremely beautiful. I love the 250 privy on this issue. Perhaps one of the most beautiful US coins that I have seen.

It does appear to be a fantastic example, but of course, I paid well for the 70. However, at least I bought it immediately, before the prices jumped up.

So, I decided to try for this EU Gold a few more tries.
This morning I logged into my account on the US Mint site at ~5:45 am (Central Time). I got the "Currently Unavailable" notice and the "Remind Me" button. Since I recently read in one of the groups that the Mint was loading items a little bit early, at 6:15 I started refreshing the page every minute. (BTW, if it was someone in this group, many thanks for the heads up).
At 6:23 I got the "Add to Bag " button and was given enough time to navigate through all the pages/text & check boxes to purchase the item. Since I was also interested in the American Eagle 2026 One Ounce Silver Enhanced Uncirculated Coin (26EG) I immediately went to that page and was able to make another successful purchase. My Credit Card was charged immediately and I have received Confirmations emails for both.
NOTE:
I was put in a Cloudflare Virtual Waiting Room only after I finished purchasing both coins (when I tried to go to my "Order History" page). It was ~6:30 am, the time when the inventory used to drop.

Latest mint report has this at 7,511 sales. I don't remember seeing a product post sales exceeding maximum mintage which was supposed to be 7,500.
