Does anyone happen to have any photos or videos of the BBCE booth at this year‘s national? I always love to see what amazing unopened treasures they unearthed and some of the prices things are bringing. Thanks in advance to anyone who has images to post.

I was wondering about this as well. there always used to be major excitement about bbce this time of year

People who actually attend don’t want to alert others about the opportunities in a market gonebonkers over dwindling supply.
I didn't go this year so no photos from me. Next year I will go and upload photos. I have searched YouTube and didn't see any yet. Only videos of Sabow packs

i just saw they had and sold a full box of 1976 topps baseball wax trays!
How much did that go for - 25k?
Unsure. They didn't say but I would think double that. It's 24 trays which is two wax boxes....plus the premium of probably being the only one.

I did see a bunch of 1976 wax trays at their booth for $3k each. They also had a 1975 Topps wax box doe sale iirc for $40k - might have been $45K but I excluded myself and budget $225😉

I posted a link to an insta with Rick - I think the year we opened a 79T box - he gave us a good price.
I thought he left Steve at some time after that? Retired or something or am I wrong.

Wish you were here Mike, and it is so crowded the last few years you might not enjoy it. The number of dealers are still there, and if you saw how many corporate booths there are at the national now as well as how large they are you’d be shocked. Literally some of the booths on the side of the house and have two stories last few years.
Just Keith junior and I made the trip since the wife has to work. I remember that 79 box very vividly, and when I opened my pack at the very end, we all thought I had the Ozzy rookie but it turned out to be Winfield! That’s nice pick ups today at the national as well as some pretty decent sales, I’m working on a couple deals in the morning before we fly out. Hope you’re doing well my friend!

60K which I thought was on the low side for a super tough box like that one.

Jabs showed their booth in one of his videos. Skip to 4:21 They had a '59 Topps Cello Box Series 4 for $210,000. Also at :22 he shows a booth with a bunch of early 50's unopened packs including '52 Topps but they don't look to be authenticated.
Thanks Swish54! That was a sick 1971 Topps box for $175,000. Crazy to see how prices have continued to climb on these rarities.
Sadly even BBCE have gone corporate. Tough for even middle class folks to purchase anything. Most of the really good stuff is gone before the door even opens as other dealers buy up a lot. I go mostly to goggle and wonder how these exist. I've strickly stuck to purchase just a narrow niche of 70-77 graded wax packs. And they are going up a lot every year.
Steve also had a full sized 71 cello box priced at 395K. An amazing piece.

Yes, Rick is a terrific guy. Always a pleasure to deal with. He and Steve are top notch.
Unfortunately, I did not attend this year but am planning to next year. Been several years since I last went to the one in AC. If you go, it would be great to meet up.

The main appeal of attending the National is not really to buy items imo (though if you can find a good deal, that's even better) but to meet up with fellow collectors and touch base with the many friends you've made over the years in this great hobby.
