Red CAC Sticker?

So.....
I used to work at a plastic company that made permanent plastic labels, that are heat stamped to the product. I always thought it would be hilarious if cac got those in green gold, and red. Each slab that failed could then get a permanent red CAC sticker, effectively making that coin worthless in that holder. I do believe that the large grading companies would like the idea, due to the extra volume of reholders, that would ensue. What are your options, and how would this change market dynamics?
P.S. practically this has already happened, with cac's private database of failed cert#'s

What does “practically this has already happened, with cac's private database of failed cert#s.” ?
Many coins (including four and five figure ones) aren’t effectively made worthless by detail-grade labels. And they wouldn’t be if red CAC stickers were used, either.

The details holder is just a example, but it might take discourage some of the flippers, and crack out guys

What new potential action by grading companies are saying would discourage flippers and crack out guys more than the procedures currently being utilized?
And regardless of your answer, CAC won’t be disclosing information about cert numbers of coins that failed to sticker.

It’s not something that would affect me at this time.
I don’t think people would be happy with their coin getting a red sticker which would be a huge neg on that investment.
They would then just buy CACG if wanting that company’s material. I buy CACG but I am not a CAC submitter. My CAC sold out sometime back. I have other slabs (non CAC) in the TPG’s accepted by eBay. I use non cac CDN CPG in pricing activity research for that material.
CACG or Cac material I use CPG for CAC as reference in pricing activity.
They are 2 seperate inventory classes imo.
I don’t believe submitters would be happy getting a red sticker devaluing their material. I see CAC / CACG and non Cac as 2 seperate inventory pricing classes..
If the coin had a permanent red CAC sticker on the holder, that kinda kills the coin. Meaning that the owner needs to crack and reholder the coin if they want to sell it for PQ money.

Again, how would that differ from detail-grade labels already being used? Both the labels and red stickers would reflect negatively on the coin, with many sellers being inclined to crack the coin out.

not thought out past the knee reflex
Many would be unhappy if knowledge a coin they submitted failed CAC was spread to some public data base.
Furthermore (CAC, CACG) and non CAC are 2 different pricing equations in CDN CPG.
Coins that are CAC or CACG are priced at a premium vs non CAC.
For me my CACG coins and non CAC / CACG are 2 seperate inventory pricing classes.
Why would someone send a details coin to CAC?
The details slab was just a example.

Because they don’t know that the coin couldn’t sticker?😏

What the OP might be alluding to would be a permanent red sticker attached to graded coins, forcing a crack- out?? Like the Scarlet Letter, sort of.
Who would someone send a coin to a sticker service if knowledge of it failing to sticker (via red sticker) was available to the public?
It appears you have an incomplete understanding of what the stickers mean. You should probably go the the CAC website and see what they say about coins that fail to get a green/gold sticker.
It would be better to stamp it right into the coin.
Putting a sticker on the slab won't affect the coin at all. It just ruins the plastic.
The OP really hasn't thought this through. If CAC started putting red labels on holders it would significantly decrease CAC submissions, not got l good for CAC.
It would also HELP the flipper Crack out folks because it would encourage crack outs to eliminate the scarlet letter.
So, in summary, the suggestion:
1. Hurts CAC
2. Helps CAC competitors
3. Doesn't alter the coin market at all.
I wonder why CAC isn't already doing it? (End sarcasm.)

It's more of a funny thought/joke than anything serious. I know exactly what and how cac works

Perhaps the most straightforward approach would be to simply destroy the coin and the holder as unworthy. Send the submitter a note: “ We have destroyed your coin for the good of the hobby as it is in truth a piece of crap that will undoubtedly delude somebody. Thank you for your continued business.”
Again, this is more of a joking thread than anything else lol

Sorry. Based on your original comment, it wasn't clear that's so.
How rare is the variety and would it even be economically viable to submit?
While varieties are an interesting part of collecting and perhaps even the last frontier for collecting certain series, it seems there should still be some financial considerations for submissions so one is not buried.

Forgive me for being ignorant .... What is a CAC ?
? the bean factory! ?? the competition? what has a thread on page one every day?
Thank's for your help ! I'm here to learn ..... that's all !
My question was What the acronym stands for ?
I won’t get into specifics (why or how) but removing a CAC sticker without any residual evidence is quite easy.
No, that wasn't your question. This is why grammar matters.
Anyway, click here for the answer.

I guess my question is WHY does every question on this forum is focused on grammar and punctuation , when in fact people know what the answer is ?
Because you ask the question "Forgive me for being ignorant .... What is a CAC ?" and expect us to read that as "My question was What the acronym stands for ?".
It's the text equivalent of a toddler saying "Why tire?" and expecting us to know that the toddler's parents' car has a flat tire.
Your text "speech" is unintelligible. Spend just a moment to type like an adult and everyone will understand what you mean. An occasional typo is one thing but my special needs 8yo nephew communicates more clearly than you. Seriously, that's not an insult, it's a statement of fact

I won't even respond to your post !
Sorry to be so nitpicky but you already did. This post is your response to my post:
At least I understand what you meant.

I don’t know of any questions on this forum that are focused on grammar and punctuation.
And, although some replies are, it’s certainly nowhere near “every” reply.
There’s a comma missing after “in fact”.
Most readers don’t know the answers to questions which haven’t been made clear.
Regarding “ WHY does every question on this forum is focused…” - “is focused” should be replaced by “focus” 😏

While I always enjoy your corrections, it is rather pointless in this instance. He has expressed his unwillingness to change or even acknowledge a need. The extra space before all punctuation will not change. The constant apostrophe issues will continue. So, it just ends up making the people offering suggestions seem like they are bullying him.
Respectfully submitted,
Joe

He just told you to "have a...man". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Have a nice day, man" isn't the same as "have a nice day man" - although I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between a "day man" and, possibly, a "night man".

I do struggle when it obscures meaning. But since I'm guilty of failure to proofread myself, I'm in a glass palace.

@mach19 — don’t misunderstand members’ intentions. I taught writing, if you don’t correct a person, that person won’t learn. If people did not make an effort to understand, and suggest improvements, then they would be just laughing or ignoring. To be fair, people have to want corrections in order for any learning to occur.

This has got to be one of the dumbest thread topics in the last year or more.
