Friday Night What If? - CAC Comprehensive Database of Reviewed Coins

As the title implies, what if from day one CAC kept detailed records on all coins they reviewed (both stickered and non-stickered)? These would include detailed notes on the coin such as what they liked and didn't like, luster, color, surface quality, strike, etc.

If it were legal for them to sell access to that info, how much of a monthly fee would you pay for that? Do you think the hobby would consider that acceptable or would it seem sneaky (even if legal)?

I'd be OK if CAC did this since it would be a huge help to me as a non-expert who spends a decent amount on coins.

I was looking at some of the upcoming ANA coins tonight and it just randomly occurred to me that I'd love CAC's opinions on some of these non-stickered coins. If this were to happen, I think the CAC premium would increase perhaps by a lot.

Standard Internet Disclaimer - I appreciate and respect CAC. I do not and have not worked there. I have some coins on the way there right now so I'm obviously a fan. My only complaint about CAC is how hard it is for me to figure out what will and won't sticker haha.

    I don’t have any CAC stickered coins at this time nor plan to acquire any stickered coins. Have around 100 CACG. And quite a number of the other TPG. I go for what I like. I have a certificate from the ANA in US coin grading. Would say I have good grading skills but not professional.

    For me the TPG grade is what it is. Players have their opinion if they agree with the grade on the coin. I like the guessing the grade on a coin they run here. Have hit a number I got right others close. Noticed a lot of them their grade guess too high. They don’t know how to grade imo. Marks or lack of marks in primary focal areas have huge influence on grade. So does luster.

    No I would not pay monthly fee why something did not make it at CAC. Perhaps the submitter sends x number or has poor grading skills. As I buy CACG not CAC not an issue for me. Many CAC coins I may wonder what they looked like when submitted vs now. Ones with tarnish, spots wondered when they occurred like go bad on the holder.

    I still believe they should publicly track coins that get the red PVC sticker. I have to wonder how many of those PVC’ed coins are sold on to unsuspecting buyers sans red sticker.
