WTB: 1916-P Barber Quarter Prefer PCGS/CAC MS65/64

    Quarters are hard to come by. How about a dime, instead? Ask, "Brother can you spare a dime?" :)

    An MS64 1916-D Merc would be a nice gift, but I have all the other Merc and Barber dimes, Lincolns, Buffalos, Walkers, and 16-D Barber quarter. So I am nearing the end of the hunt with only big game remaining. :#

    Not for sale, but I have a 1914 CACG Barber MS65 that I would trade for a 1916 MS65 CAC Barber that has a similar look. It is not a duplicate, it is part of a type set.

    Glad to see you are including CACGs in your sets. There are collectors who refuse to buy them.
    Do you own a 1903 dime?

    A 1903 is my dad's birth year and turns out to be a scarce and undervalued "P" mint Barber dime. Last I checked, MS64 populations are 34 at NGC and 35 at PCGS. Price guide is $360 at NGC and $385 at PCGS.

    MS64 Barber dimes with similar PCGS populations range from $725 - $2,600.

    Yeah, many Barbers have low slab counts in nice grades but are very difficult to find -- I will make a note to contact you if I come across one. I would also put it into a want list with DLRC, NE Coin, GC, Collectors Corner (https://www.collectorscorner.com/) and Heritage. I have gotten a lot of coins that way.

    They say the eye appeal of the 1903 is 5/5 and the price is actually not bad considering it is a +.

    How do you feel about the toning. It is dark; but....
