I might make the trip to the ANA Pittsburgh show so I can see it in person. It is an amazing looking double strike just from the photos alone. No stunt I am sharing the news, I am sure that greatcollections will roll out their own marketing for this fresh to market error coin.

Guy brought 4 in shop yesterday he bought off line, thinking he is going to cash in grading them. of the 4 : 1 63 at best, 2 64's, and 1 maybe 4+ . Apparently the guy found over a hundred in box and was selling them randomly, i told him, he inst going to send out the higher grade ones to buyers.

he paid 960 for the 4 coins

I have not found one. Several threads of this subject around here. The prices are going down from the Ebay highs of July 4th etc... This was expected... Apparently Dansco is including this variety in their next quarter book... Someone else suggested creating a reg set of just 2026 coins, a good idea. This coin would be needed for that. The graded ones are starting to show on Ebay with special labels and seem to be selling for good money. Some are over priced in my opinion. A very cool variety of quarter dollar however with somewhat low mintage. It would be cool to find a double struck one....

I believe this coin will have a population of 35k-50k or more from MS64 through MS67 making it very common.
    Just my opinion.

The thread title asks if anyone found a privy quarter. I thought that was the subject.

No, it started as something else and then the OP changed the title and deleted their first post. 🤨

No luck in. Michigan. I ordered six $500 boxes of quarters from different banks. First box was all 2026 d mint quarters. None there. I believe that the privy marked are all P mint origin. The rest were all previous years mintage.

    2 years.

    Unless you want one now.

Neither collecting or finding. I’m just doing the dirty work for a fellow who found the most. And they’ve fallen from highs in $500 range , to just under $200.
Starting at $.99. Spam unintended. The post is for research.

What you do in the privy with a quarter you found there is your own business. Just remember to wash your hands with soap and water. ;)

Rob the roll hunter has all the privy quarters. Where he gets them is a secret.

I suppose I am collecting the privy quarter, as I will check my change, and definitely save any that I find. I collect the quarter designs from circulation now, so I do carefully check. But if I don't find any, which seems pretty likely, I don't know that I will bother to buy one.
