Dan is clearly of the former, having seen the noble pursue of numismatics as a superior topic to discoursing on the subtleties of clickbait. Note that I myself was content to watch the world burn through the comments for 45 hours and 59 minutes before stepping forth on my own post.

It should be "fortunately" as an adverb is required.
It should be "pursuit" not "pursue" as a noun is required.
It should be "...I, myself,..."
It should be "...onto my own post..." not "...on..." as "stepping forth implies an action.
